Surjit Bindrakhia - what a great singer he
was.
In the begining, I didn`t know his name but I did listen him sometimes.
However, around the year of 2000, I started to listen him more and more
because I realized that he had the voice that touches straight to your
heart.
Whenever there was a song of him on TV, I hardly missed. Me and my
whole family felt very happy whenever we listened to his songs. Me and my
brothers always used to wait for his new audio/video cassettes so we
could listen his great voice.The first song that I heard from him was:
"Tere ch tera yaar bolda"
After this song I heard many of his songs and I did loved and enjoyed
all of his songs but there are some which I liked the most such as:
"Maa mai mur ne paike Aana, paike hundai mawa naal"
"Ne main tirkae ghare da pani, main kal tak nahin rehna.
I love this song the most because he actully sang the song when he knew
that he going to die someday soon. And I think this song have touched
everyone`s heart and he (The Great Singer - Surjit Bindrakhia ) will
stay in everyone`s memory who ever heard of him.
